Meet the Team

Emerie
< Owner, CEO, Instructor
Emerie Laundy, founder of Paradiso Pilates, discovered Pilates at just 10 years old through her background in competitive dance. One session in, she was hooked—realizing it was more than a workout; it was a way of life. After an injury sidelined her with shin splints, Pilates became her personal form of healing, strength, and injury prevention.

At 17, Emerie graduated high school early and completed her 500-hour Pilates Teacher Training Program through Club Pilates. Just one month after graduating, she opened her own studio—at only 18 years old.

Today, Emerie is a passionate instructor, business owner, and mentor. She’s on a mission to help women feel strong, supported, and empowered—through every season of life.
Michelle
Instructor >
Michelle is a health nerd and loves to learn as much as she can about the human body. She is also a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2016 and has an Advanced Pain Management certification as well as many other modalities. With her background, adding healing movement was a no brainer. Her interest in Pilates came not long ago after becoming a new mom and her passion only grew when she discovered how much better her body felt after doing Pilates than with strictly weight training. She loves to help clients move out of pain and into whole body wellness by identifying imbalances and strengthening instabilities. She teaches group classes and dives deep into clients’ individual needs during private sessions. Either way, you will get a well rounded class with an emphasis on intentional exercises with Michelle.

Jewell
< Instructor
Jewell has spent her whole life moving and dancing. Her dance journey led her to hip-hop, jazz, ballet, and modern dance styles, however, it wasn't until she got to dance at Kansas City Ballet that she truly fell in love with the classical style. Upon an accumulation of minor injuries and questions, she sought physical therapy. It was here that she was introduced to Pilates as physical therapy exercises, and saw immediate improvement. It was offered to her, a comprehensive program that would educate and facilitate her healing while helping and teaching others.
With little knowledge in her head, she jumped right in at the age of 17. She quickly became more and more interested and creative with Pilates and is loving it still! Through the course, confidence was built in her, assessing clients, and creating programs that are unique and perfect for clients' individual goals. She specializes in private sessions but cant resist the upbeat, hardworking atmosphere of a group class.
Jeanette
Instructor >
Jeanette Wilson is a certified Reformer instructor through Balanced Body, with over 23 years of experience in the fitness industry. Throughout her career, she has taught a wide range of modalities, but over the past decade, she has focused her energy and passion on Pilates Reformer, Barre, Mat Pilates, and Yoga. Her deep knowledge of movement, paired with her warm and encouraging style, makes her classes both challenging and accessible for all levels.

Jeanette is dedicated not only to teaching proper technique but also to helping clients understand the vital connection between core strength, nutrition, and overall well-being. She believes in empowering people to move better, feel stronger, and live with greater confidence. Her commitment reaches beyond the studio—she considers each client a part of her extended fitness family and is honored to support their journey toward a healthier, more balanced life.

Margarita
< Instructor
Margarita is a comprehensively trained Classical Pilates instructor with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a background as an ICU nurse. She brings a unique blend of clinical knowledge and movement expertise to every session, helping clients connect deeply to their bodies through precise, supportive, and empowering instruction.
Her teaching style emphasizes alignment, breath, and functional strength, with an inclusive approach that welcomes clients of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Margarita is especially passionate about making Pilates accessible and transformative for people who are brand new to movement as well as those looking to refine advanced practice.
When she’s not teaching, you’ll likely find her studying Pilates biomechanics, walking her two dogs with her partner Tom, and sipping on a ice cold Diet Coke. She is excited to share her love of Pilates with the Paradiso community.
Adrienne
Instructor >
Hello! I’m Adrienne and just like you I’m a woman, wife, mother & friend that has struggled a time or 2 with working out & feeling good in my body. I have been doing Pilates on & off for the past 10+ years after it was initially introduced to me by a dear friend & sorority sister who was working on her doctorate in physical therapy. I was very fortunate to be exposed to all amazing exercises on many apparatus’s such as Reformer, Cadillac and EXO Pilates Chair. The knowledge I gained from the small intimate group classes is why I fell in love with the practice of Pilates!
I always found my way back to Pilates because of the overall connection between my mind & body and I just feel so strong after I take a class!
Pilates is for every body no matter the fitness level you are at! There is something for everyone! As a comprehensive certified Pilates Instructor it is my goal to challenge you, support you, and most of all give you the tools for the overall spinal health for a long, healthy & happy life
