FAQs

What is the best way to get started?

If you've never taken a Pilates Reformer class or if its been awhile, a Free 30 minute Trial Class required prior to jumping into our classes. The Free Trial Class sets you up for success, allows you to get acquainted with the equipment, the basic Pilates principles, and lets your instructor tailor the session to your specific goals. That way when you're ready to join a class you have a good foundation!

How do I access the schedule?

We use the Wellness Living booking software for all of our bookings and account management. You can easily access this by registering an account & then download the Wellness Living Achieve App. Please go to the "Book Classes" tab to get started! Or contact the staff at 913-355-6564 to get your account started!

Once you are on the site or app, you can access the schedule to book classes or request appointments!

How do I book a class?

You can purchase class packages through the app, pick a class time that works for you and click book!

How many people are in a "class"?

5 people MAX in a class! We keep the classes small enough that our instructors can give each individual the attention needed to gain the most out of their time in the studio.

Are there different styles or levels of Classes?

Our group classes have 3 different levels.. 1 is Foundations/Beginner, 2 is Intermediate, 3 is Advanced. General modifications can be easily given for exercises as needed in every level.  We want you to take everything at your own pace, its your class! Class levels and description of classes are located in the Wellness Living Achieve App.

Do you offer memberships?

We do! Memberships are available for group classes! We currently don't sell them online-- you have to come into the studio to actually purchase one and sign the contract. You may ask to see the pricing sheet & get the contract emailed to you before signing it/reviewng it with the Paradiso Pilates Staff.

What do I need to bring to class?

- Clothes you are comfortable to workout in
- Grip socks are required - check out our stock of grip socks in studio or bring your own!
- Water to stay hydrated

How many classes should I do per week?

We recommend 2-3 classes per week to see and feel results! If pilates is your only form of exercise, maybe try for 3-4!

Can I do Pilates if I am pregnant?

Once your doctor has cleared you for exercise, then yes!

If you've never been in before a Free Trial Class at Paradiso Pilates it is required to get more familiar with you and your needs! Classes are great up to 20 weeks into pregnancy and then it is recommended to switch to privates until labor. Private training is also great for any phase of your pregnancy.

Should I stay home if I am not feeling well?

YES. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell. Our instructors will be following the same rules.

If you have an injury please do not attend classes until you have been cleared by your physician.

As always, be honest with your instructor.  Let her know if there is anything going on with your body that might be important - such as pregnancy or injury - previous or current.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT & POLICIES

What if I need to cancel a class I signed up for?

Or what if I just don't show up?

Our cancellation policy is in place to ensure everyone has a chance to attend class and that our instructors are compensated for their time. You can cancel via online or the Wellness Living App - the same way you book. Or through text, email, phone.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation/No show Policy:
Cancel with care - all cancellations, regardless of advanced notice, negatively impact this small business. I know life and emergencies do happen and sometimes you'll have to cancel. There is a 12-hour policy that applies to all classes, duos, & private sessions. If you do not cancel a minimum of 12 hours prior to your session, you will lose your credit for that session. If you don't show up to your class/session, without any contact with Paradiso Pilates, you will lose your credit for that session.

Late Policy:

Please arrive for your session no earlier than 5 minutes to the scheduled time.

Please text or call if you are running behind. Late arrivals (15+ minutes) will be considered a late cancellation and the full price of the session will be forfeited or deducted from a package. Warm up is very necessary within all pilates classes and after the 15 minute mark it is unsafe to jump into class

What if the class time I want is full?

Get on that waitlist! Use the waitlist when the class you want is full. If a spot comes available you'll receive an email and/or text notification. You then have the ability to respond "Yes!" or "Bummer, can't make it".

If we receive no response from you we assume you aren't joining.

What if I want to reserve my spot long term?

We offer the option to get on a recurring schedule! This will pre-book you in advance of 6 months and will guarantee your spot in your favorite class! Standard cancellation terms apply for recurring schedules.

Ask us how to put you on recurring next time you're in studio!

Can I sign up to receive texts and email updates?

Absolutely! Sign up to get email and text notifications. We will only send you important stuff like when you get into class from the waitlist, appointment reminders, schedule changes, notifications when an auto pay process or fails and any other important account information or updates. Plus you don't want to miss out on any news or promotions that may be happening in the studio!
